SCRIP Program

Major Retailers Want To Give Musical Theatre Academy Money! We're pleased to share some exciting news about a new fundraising program for our organization. It's called "scrip", and it's the fundraising program that works while you shop. Scrip is simply a word that means "substitute money" - in other words, scrip is gift certificates from national and local retailers. They're the same gift certificates that you buy at the store. Many popular retailers participate in our scrip program including JCPenney, The Gap, Shell, Pizza Hut, Red Lobster, Souplantation, Safeway/Vons and many, many others. Musical Theatre Academy specializes in training, team-building and leadership through the performing arts. We are a tuition based teaching academy and the tuition alone does not fully fund our operating costs, covering about forty percent of all expenses. We are undergoing a major step in our growth as an organization as we strive to develop our audience of ticket holders as well as patrons and partners.
